Rather than a trade show, the SITC was a tourism festival designed to suit the end consumer, enlivened by a rainbow of music, dance, colours and flavours.

More than 194,000 visitors found ideas for trips to suit every budget and every taste, and in a range of fresh new formats.

Whether it was hot air ballooning, cruising the Antarctic, driving a motorhome round New Zealand, a visit to Berlin or a walk in the Empordà, travelling in times of crisis is possible; you simply need to seek out the best offer.
